The Flamingo Fairy strives to be a business that brings encouragement, hope, recognition, love, concern, and hopefully, if only for one day, a smile to someone's face!
We will not provide service that is demeaning to the recipient in any way. Our business was established solely for positive reinforcement.
Occasions for a Yard Card
We celebrate many different occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, over the hill, congratulations, proposals, I love you, weddings, Valentines Day, apologies, new homes, pat on the back, family reunions, grand openings, employee recognition, retirement, promotions, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, new births, and much more.
If you've got an office party coming up that might be located in a place that needs special directions, let us help out! As long as we have permission from the owner of the property, we can place an eye-catching display at the entrance to the party or somewhere along the route that will help guests find their way to the party! They could even follow the flock of flamingos all the way there!
Groups of friends, family members, wedding parties, teachers, students, or co-workers, may want to go in together on a display for that special family member, bride, groom, principal, boss, or other co-worker.
If you are trying to think of the perfect way to make that wedding proposal, why not make her feel even more special by showing her how much you want the whole world to know how much you love her!

How It All Works
Simply give us a call and we'll walk you through everything. We'll need to get a little information about you and the person you'll be surprising, get specifics regarding the location The Flamingo Fairy will be visiting, and find out just what type of display you would like. It's as easy as that!
What a Yard Display Includes
A yard display includes 30 creatively crafted decorations of one design. Using 30 of the same theme creates a more dramatic affect.
The display will also feature a center marquee with 4 lines for you to express yourself to that special someone. You can design your own phrase, we can make suggestions, or we can create the greeting for you! All phrases will coordinate with the lawn displays you have selected.
If you choose to remain anonymous, that's totally fine and FUN!
Yard Display Pricing
Currently, we are offering Alexandria residents a standard yard display package for $50.00 plus tax. The cost of a lawn greeting is comparable to sending gift baskets, flowers, or buying a cake, but it's a lot more unique and the shock value is worth a million!

*Two-in-one themes are charged at the rate of 2 yards. However, if the customer chooses to wait and see if the second theme is not rented by 5:00 p.m. on the eve of their rental, they may rent the second theme at half price.
Stork Display Pricing
All stork rentals include one stork with a keepsake bundle - pink heart or blue star - along with “dancing” baby bottles at the base of the stork. The bundle includes baby’s first and middle name along with date of birth, weight and length. When the display is removed, parents will receive the keepsake star or heart bundle along with a personalized gift from The Flamingo Fairy.

Service Areas
The Flamingo Fairy is based in Alexandria, Louisiana; however, we will service other areas. Please reference our delivery zone chart in the section entitled Pricing.
Delivery Times
The Flamingo Fairy works best on creating her yard displays between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. However, we will do our best to work with you if other times are desired.
All time and date changes must be made verbally to an employee of The Flamingo Fairy. Changes cannot be left on an answering machine or sent via email. This will help insure that your display is created in a timely and accurate manner.
